the people who did the mummy and the mummy returns used Imhotep as the main mummy. Of course he wont come back from the dead to take the fictional book of life and wreak havoc pond the whole world!In real life imhotep was probably the best pharaoh ever because he discovered many way to use the desert plants and fruits to use in his medicine(some people believed it was magic).Also they worshiped him for it.

he was the first regular commoner to become a Pharaoh's visor, to become pharaoh,and to be a demi god (wich means a god but not one of the real gods the belived in).the coolest fact of all is that there is so much information on him but arcioligest havent found his tomb and its true,weird right that theres somuch stuff about him they havent found his tomb. Also his wife died giving birth.

The step pyramid that Imhotep was set to do wasn't like the ordinary pyramids in many ways one the blocks used to build the pyramid were not the standard issue sun-dried mud blocks it was made from stone blocks.Also each step of the 6 steps were as high as 200 ft and was the worlds first stone built structure.When completed the whole site was surrounded with a huge stone wall that was as long 2,000 ft and 1,000ft wide.The curt yard include 40 culoms and many shrines and temples.The burial chambers are an amazing , extraordinary, fascinating goal of architectural design with a series of shafts chamber and tunnels to be able to get lost in!They were the most complex of any pyramids after!

While Imhotep was young his thrive for knowledge helped him for the years to come.
Imhotep probably received a good education and had wide interest even thou he was born a commoner.His Superior intellect served him well after and later became chief adviser during Egypt's 3rd dynasty for king Djoser reign from2 2630-2611 BC.Imhotep being adviser to the king was like being the adviser of all Egyptian life!He looked over law and finances to military and agriculture.Later king Djoser gave Imhotep the task of building the great step pyramid at saqqara south of Cairo
